Glory Denied tells the true story of America’s longest-held prisoner of war - Colonel Jim Thompson - who endures a nine-year ordeal in the jungle of southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Through it all, he finds the strength to survive in memories of his family. Upon Jim’s liberation, however, he finds that his wife has begun a new relationship with another man, she has told their children that their father is dead, and his country is forever changed.
